Beginning as a rental property of 2 acres on the Hanson Family farm, David Poland first brought his vineyard to life, where it quickly grew to 8 acres. As his acreage grew, so did David’s interest in viticulture and wine making, where he began to attend seminars and conferences to expand his knowledge of the business. In 2010, David reached out to his cousin Chancey Weidenhamer and his fiancé, Holly, about their interest in investing in a family-owned winery; together they have been able to make Hidden Hills Vineyard and Winery not just a dream, but a reality, where they now produce and bottle their own wine right here in Knox County.
